NEW DELHI, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- At least six workers have been killed after a crane collapsed at a construction site in southern Indian state of Karnataka, police said Friday.
The accident occurred in the state's Kalaburagi district.
"The crane suddenly collapsed at the under-construction cement factory Thursday night. While six workers were killed on the spot, one injured has been hospitalized," a police official said.
A probe has been ordered into the incident, he added.
