VIENTIANE, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Bounnhang Vorachit, general secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and president of Laos, said here Monday that the achievements of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) greatly contributed to the development of socialist theories in a new era.

Bounnhang made the remarks during a meeting with visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.
