BUCHAREST, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Romania's business environment can learn from the Chinese traditions, Romanian writer Andrei Dirlau said on Wednesday at the launch of the book "Business Management the Chinese Way".

The Romanian edition of Shengzhe Nie's book was launched at a famous Bucharest bookstore by publishing house Integral.

The book is "narrated with charming simplicity and good sense of business and it could be a useful set of lessons not only for business people but for anyone wanted to know more about China," said Ionela Voicu, who translated it from Chinese.

Integral has said it aims to offer an interesting perspective of the Chinese's management models, and launch an ambitious project to present the Chinese culture to Romania's public.

"We and the publishing house Integral are partners in the ambitious project of editing more books about China and its civilization, as we believe that we have a lot to learn from the Chinese traditions and values," said Gigi Rizescu, president of the Bucharest-based Romanian-Chinese Business Club.

"The new book is not just a simple management treaty, is more than that: it reveals the reality that for the Chinese business partners the profit is not a goal in itself, and that business is accompanied by a code of ethics, which values merit and discipline," Rizescu said.

The book offers a deeper understanding of the Chinese business environment to Romanian business people interested in partnerships with Chinese companies, Rizescu added.

Chinese companies had invested a total of 407.5 million U.S. dollars in Romania by the end of last year, according to official data from the Romanian Commerce Register.
