SHANGHAI, July 20 (Xinhua) -- The 21st International Metallurgy Industry Expo will be held from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

Over 400 companies will participate in the event with the exhibition area reaching more than 35,000 square meters, said the organizer.

The expo will focus on marketing of the application of high-end products, including auto sheet, silicon steel and bearing steel, and intelligent manufacturing of the steel sector.

Four new exhibition areas, including steel intelligent manufacturing, environmental protection technology, metallurgy spare parts and advanced materials will become highlights of the expo.

Founded in 1986, the expo has developed into an important international platform for the metallurgy industry.
